Blog Entry 10 – The Non-Designer's Design Book: Alignment

The words are aligned to the left which helps you know how to read the information.  It is not scattered or clustered.
This uses good alignment because it is aligned in the center and it makes your eyes see the big word then work from top to bottom.
This uses good alignment because everything is separated and it is easy to read.
This is on the side of a napkin dispenser and uses good alignment. It uses the space well. It would not look good if the words were aligned left or right.
These words use good alignment because the words are aligned in a way to make the symbol @.
This grouping of words does not use good alignment.  Nothing is in order and causes the eyes to wander all over.

This photo uses bad alignment. None of the words are aligned at all. Everything is in separate corners.
