Blog Entry 12 – The Non-Designer's Design Book: Type Categories

This is modern because it has drastic thick to thin.
This is script because all of the letters flow together.
This is san serif because there are no serifs and everything is vertical.
This is decorative because it uses a decoration and flows together.

This is oldstyle because there is a diagonal line between the thin and thick and also some serifs
This is a slab serif because the serifs are exaggerated and are very big.
